d-mon is a network monitoring system designed for a large number of hosts and services.
d-mon measures the response time for servers and the applications they run, and helps you keep track of your Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with users and customers. And if a server or process crashes, d-mon can instantaneously notify you, by SMS or e-mail.
Using the simple Web interface, you can add and edit nodes, view resource usage graphs, and other relevant information; reports can easily be exported to PDF documents, directly in your browser, or sent by email.
Why choose d-mon?
Our goal in developing d-mon was to meet customer requirements for a modular, scalable network monitoring system, which should both be easy to install and use, from small to large installations, with advanced reporting capabilities.
Our opinion is that other monitoring products are often too complex, expensive, and require extensive knowledge to use and manage. A number of Open Source solutions also exist, which will supply you with individual components that you will then need to unify and customize.
d-mon is the optimum solutions between these two approaches: a unified monitoring system that is easy to configure and adapt, using simple HTML templates and our advanced templating system to create custom reports, views and status pages according to your needs and requirements.
Need to find out which servers are running a given piece of software ? Want to know which services fail most often during week-ends ? Create a template for it! The data is already in the daatabase, and d-mon provides the necessary interfaces for extracting data easily. And d-mon scales so well to large installations - thousands of servers and services - that you will not need to worry about capacity either!
If you would like to try d-mon, we can upon request arrange for an online demo account, and give you a guided walkthrough of the d-mon interface
This will give you the opportunity to get an idea of what d-mon is all about, and see what it can do for you. You can get to know d-mon at your own pace, and ask the questions that are relevant to your business.
